GWCT X 12Bore

We were thrilled to be invited to a special event—the GWCT Annual London Ball! The GWCT, or Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, is an organisation our family has proudly supported since its inception. Their commitment to educating the public about countryside husbandry, gamekeeping, and country sports aligns perfectly with our values.

When we were asked to create a GWCT edition of our 12 Bore Gin, we were truly honoured. This special gin pays tribute to British gamekeepers and their tireless conservation efforts. Gamekeeping and countryside sports can often be misunderstood, so what better way to foster discussion than over a shared drink?

We were excited not only to craft this limited-edition gin but also to attend the ball on November 8, 2022, at the London Museum. Initially, we thought we would be serving guests and discussing our 12 Bore Gin, so we were surprised to find ourselves seated at a table – definitely not dressed for the occasion!

Despite that, the evening was delightful, filled with a menu showcasing British game and excellent drinks among like-minded individuals. We especially enjoyed connecting with Gareth Wyn Jones and his lovely wife, Rhian, sharing a 12 Bore or two and discussing our shared passions.

All in all, it was a fantastic night!
