One Shot Distillation
One of the cornerstones of our Wild Fox gin is its farm-to-bottle authenticity. We don’t just source ingredients from anyone – we grow many of our botanicals right here on our own farm, ensuring that every flavour is as fresh and unique as possible. By nurturing our crops ourselves, we can control the quality of every herb, berry, and flower that goes into our gin, capturing the true essence of our land. This farm-to-bottle approach isn’t just about knowing where our botanicals come from; it’s about creating a gin that tells an authentic story from start to finish.
Our commitment to excellence starts with our distillation process. We use traditional 50-liter copper pot stills, which allow us to carefully craft every batch of gin with precision. But what really sets us apart is our decision to one-shot distill all of our gin. This means that we distill each batch in a single pass, without recirculating or re-distilling. One-shot distillation is a labour-intensive process that requires true craftsmanship, but it ensures that every drop of gin is rich, full-bodied, and true to its botanicals.
