When ITV came to the farm..

Well what a whirl wind we’ve had since winning the Rural Business Awards – Best Drinks Business nationally 2021.

The day after we were announced as winners we were inundated with journalists wanting to acknowledge our award – this was just so surreal to us, being in front of the camera doesn’t come naturally but we are both learning – fast!

The biggest surprise was when our PR Helen, at farm creative got in touch to say ITV wanted to cover our story and feature us on the 6pm news. WHATTTTTT! Initially nerves over took excitement but as the week went on and we had chats with Victoria; the reporter, about what she wanted to get out of the visit, we were really excited for their arrival.

Roll forward to Thursday 11th March, 9am came and so did camera man Stewart and reporter Victoria. As soon as they got out of their cars we hit it off and instantly put at ease. They were genuinely interested about our farm-to-bottle process and even enjoyed a tipple straight out of the still. We walked the farm, chatted and they captured everything beautifully. The real stars of the show though were our daughters, Annie & Betsy. What a ball they had! Annie was so confident and really made us burst with pride with what she came out with and Betsy was overcome with giggles which just made it all the more fun!
