Made for the Field: The Story Behind Twelve Bore

There is something about the start of shoot season that changes the feel of the countryside.

Early mornings get colder, the fields get muddier, the dogs somehow know before anyone says a word, and weekends begin to fill with familiar faces, muddy boots and long days outside.

For us, Twelve Bore has always belonged in that world.

Made here on our family farm in Lancashire, it was created with the countryside in mind. Not as a gimmick, but as a proper drink for people who genuinely spend their time in the field.

Twelve Bore is bottled at 45%, so it has a little more weight and warmth than a standard gin.

It is bold, juniper-led and made to stand up properly in a glass — whether that is a G&T at the end of the day or a measure poured back at home after a long afternoon outside.

Made on a working farm

Wild Fox Distillery sits on our family farm, so the countryside is not something we have borrowed for our branding.

It is simply where we live and work.

Our spirits are distilled, bottled and labelled here in Lancashire, and Twelve Bore is probably the bottle that reflects that side of us most naturally.
