If you are spending a winter weekend in the Ribble Valley or exploring the Forest of Bowland in the run-up to Christmas, come and call in at Wild Fox Distillery.

We are open every Saturday, 12–6pm, and you do not need to book just to visit.

Tucked away in the Lancashire countryside, our small farm distillery is a lovely stop for a drink, a bit of Christmas shopping or a relaxed afternoon after a walk.

Wild Fox Distillery sits on our family farm on the edge of the Forest of Bowland, within easy reach of the Ribble Valley, Beacon Fell, Garstang and Preston.

Everything we make is produced here in small batches, so if you are looking for somewhere a little different to visit in Lancashire, you can come straight to the place where our spirits are made.

Pull up a chair, have a drink and stay as long as you fancy.

Christmas shopping, without the high street

Our distillery shop is open throughout the afternoon, so you can browse our full range of spirits and pick up something a little more local for Christmas.

We also offer free gift wrapping, making it easy to sort a present while you are here.

From classic bottles to seasonal releases and gifts for people who are notoriously difficult to buy for, there is plenty to choose from.

And if you would rather buy for yourself, we will not judge.

Cocktails, gin and something alcohol-free

It is not just about shopping.

Our bar is open every Saturday, serving gin, cocktails, draught drinks, mocktails, coffee and more.

So whether you fancy a proper G&T, a cocktail, a pint, or simply a coffee while somebody else shops, you can make an afternoon of it.

Try a gin tasting

If you want to discover more of the range, we also offer gin tasting flights on Saturdays.

They are a relaxed way to try several of our spirits and find out which ones you like best before choosing a bottle to take home.

For people visiting the Ribble Valley for a weekend away, it is also a lovely little experience to add to the day without needing to commit to a full evening event.

Pair your visit with a walk

One of the best things about our location is that there are plenty of beautiful walks nearby.

You could spend the morning exploring the Forest of Bowland, head up towards Beacon Fell, or enjoy a countryside walk before calling in at the distillery for a drink afterwards.

We also have mapped local walks available from the distillery, including routes towards Brock Bottoms and the surrounding countryside.

It makes a simple winter day out:

walk, drink, shop, home.

Dog-friendly and relaxed

Dogs are welcome, so you do not need to leave them behind if you are out walking locally.

There is no dress code, no fuss and no need to make it into a big occasion.

Just come as you are.
