Farm 24

This year saw the biggest and most engaged celebration of British farming to date, and we were immensely proud to be a part of it. Farm 24 has been running since 2015 and is brought to us by Farmers Guardian and Morrisons, year on year Farm 24 has been growing but this year thousands of farmers took to social to share their work as it is becoming more of a necessity to educate.

There has been so much negativity and false media surrounding farming this year, most statistics coming from intensive farming mainly located in South America, and for us British farmers that literally never stop & strive to have the best welfare in the world, it has been hard to swallow.

Well as they say “education is the most powerful weapon, a weapon with which you can change the world” – and that is exactly what our nation of farmers did, they came out out in their thousands and educated the social world on the beautiful way of life British farming is!

On Thursday the 6th August 2020 at 5am, Rob took over our social media stories and brought you 24 hours of true British farming. we were inundated with support and so many questions from “what do you eat for lunch” to “how long does it take a cow to calve” all which Rob was only too happy to answer. So many of you got in touch to say thank you as their only experience of farming was days out to petting farms and what they see on the news – neither an accurate representation!
